Some frequently asked questions...
What are the steps to booking with you?
First, get in touch using the contact form below providing as much information as posible relating to youur needs, I will get back to you with a quote and a breakdown of services included.
Even better, give me a call on 07826850023 for a chat about exactly what it is you are looking for.
How long will it take to deliver my photos or video and what will I recieve?
It depends on the size of your event or project, but typically you will recieve between 300 and 500 images, retouched and delivered in high resolution within two weeks, I will also provide you with SM optimised images, and prints are also available on request.
Clients often want images during the event for social media and to display around the venue. There are a number of ways to achieve this so please add this to your inquiry and we can discuss your options.
Video can take a little longer and often requires a one or two draft previews to get it exactly how you want it. I typically allow for three weeks but it is perfctly possible to deliver sooner if we discuss this during the proposal stage.
Can we schedule a consultation?
Absolutely! If you would like to discuss something specific over a zoom meeting then this can be arranged. This is particulary valuable for video - if we need to storyboard your idea prior to shooting then this is in fact a must, and if its fesable I'd always push for a face to face meeting in such an event.
although it is not essential in my cases, I prefer to meet clients prior to working with them so we can get to know each other prior to the event or project. A good working relationship deffinately starts at the proposal stage before any work is done.
How far will you travel?
I am based in West Yorkshire but I'm more than happy to work nationwide. If you are interested in booking me from another part of the country, get in touch and we can discuss costs and viability.
I also work in Europe on occasion and I am always happy to consider this - if you have an event on the continent, trying to find a suitable photographer or videographer in another country can be a nightmare - for a relatively small additional cost, taking someone with you to take care of photo and video can make life a hell of a lot easier.
What if I am too ill on the day to work?
This has never actually happened to me, but any serious photographer knows this is always a possibility and must have a strategy for the very unlikely scenario that this happens. I have numerous people I can call on who are experienced professionals able to cover and maintain the standard of work you are expecting. I will at all costs avoid this scenario though, and short of a dose of e.coli or a broken femur, I will be there. The bottom line is, there is no scenario where you will not get the photography or videography promised, for your event.
What if my event or project requires both photography and videography?
If you are looking to book both photo and video, as a hybrid shooter I can often take on both rolls, and providing it is possible without cutting corners in quality - this is the most cost effective way for you to get full event coverage.
But when a job requires it, I have a number of people ready to bring in who are proven and reliable. Typically I will take on the photography whilst bringing in one or two videographers. All editing is done by myself.
For jobs of a larger size please get in touch.
